About Heather DeLuca

Naturopathic Physician, Naturopathic Oncology, Lyme & Co-Infections, PANS/PANDAS

Heather DeLuca, ND

Dr. Heather DeLuca is a Connecticut/Maryland-licensed naturopathic physician with over 20 years of clinical experience helping patients navigate complex, chronic, and serious health conditions. Her practice focuses on naturopathic oncology, Lyme disease and tick-borne co-infections, and PANS/PANDAS — offering patients an integrative, root-cause approach to conditions that are often underserved by conventional medicine alone.

Dr. DeLuca's path to naturopathic medicine was shaped by both personal experience and a deep commitment to whole-person care. After witnessing the limitations of conventional approaches to chronic illness firsthand, she sought a model of medicine that addressed the underlying drivers of disease rather than symptoms alone. That search led her to naturopathic medicine — a discipline built on collaboration, individualized treatment, and the healing power of nature.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr Universityin 2005, one of the most respected naturopathic medical institutions in North America.

Dr. DeLuca specializes in integrative cancer care, working alongside patients undergoing conventional treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation. She develops individualized protocols using evidence-informed nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle medicine to help patients manage treatment side effects, support immune function, and improve quality of life — during treatment and in survivorship. She is a proud member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians (OncANP).

Dr. DeLuca has extensive experience treating patients with Lyme disease and associated tick-borne co-infections, including complex and chronic presentations. Her integrative approach addresses immune dysregulation, inflammation, and the systemic burden that often accompanies these infections.

Dr. DeLuca also works with pediatric and adult patients affected by PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections) and PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome), helping families navigate diagnosis, treatment, and long-term support through a naturopathic lens.

Throughout her career, Dr. DeLuca has remained dedicated to empowering patients with knowledge, tools, and personalized therapies that support healing on every level — mental, emotional, and physical.
