About Dr. Pierre

Naturopathic Physician, Digestive Health, Women's Health & Hormones, Thyroid Health, Functional Dermatology

Jennifer Pierre, ND, MPH

Dr. Jennifer Pierre, ND, MPH is a licensed naturopathic physician and public health professional with over a decade of clinical experience specializing in functional gastroenterology, functional dermatology, digestive health, women's health, hormonal conditions, and thyroid health — including Hashimoto's, PCOS/PMOS, and related hormonal imbalances. Practicing in Fairfield, CT at Fairfield Family Health, Dr. Pierre brings a root-cause, whole-person approach to care — investigating the underlying drivers of chronic illness rather than managing symptoms in isolation.

Dr. Pierre holds a certification in Root Cause Dermatology® and advanced training in functional gastroenterology, giving her specialized expertise in conditions such as IBS, SIBO, leaky gut, eczema, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, and hormonally driven skin and hair concerns. Her integrative approach combines naturopathic medicine, nutritional therapy, herbal medicine, and evidence-based functional medicine to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique biology.

Recognized as a Top 10 Naturopathic Physician in Connecticut and Top TCM/Acupuncture provider since 2019, Dr. Pierre is also a recipient of the Women's Business Development Council / Connecticut Lieutenant Governor "Women Rising" Award — one of the state's most distinguished honors for women in healthcare and business. She is the co-author of Pathways to HerRise and former host of the WPKN Seeking Wellness podcast.

Dr. Pierre earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences, her Master of Public Health from the University at Albany School of Public Health, and completed undergraduate studies at Cornell University. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut and Arizona.
